Girls' Birthday party

It has been an exciting weekend.  Thursday Megan and Andy flew in.  Then Friday morning my parents came.  Braylee started school that day.  Then that evening, Vincent and his girlfriend Brandy drove up. 

Saturday morning we had Braylee's and Sadie's birthday party.  We were planning on a swimming party and of course a cold front comes in the night before their party.  Thankfully the sun was shinning and it was warm enough for the kids to swim.   At least a hurricane didn't make landfall like their party last year! :)

Since I had so much family in town I decided to make this party more simple.  Wow it was so nice.  Not nearly as much work as I normally do and I LOVED it.   We had the party at our Club house.

 Poor Sadie was getting tired

 

 The wind was blowing so I had a hard time lighting the cupcakes.

 

After we ate cupcakes most of the kids went to the playground for a little bit.

 

We decided to just open the presents once we got home. So much fun watching

 them open their presents. They LOVED everything they got!!!!

 

 

 Rusty and I gave them bikes for their birthdays.  Braylee is getting really good at it.  Sadie not as much. She is probably a little young still but she would have been so upset if we didn't her one too

 

 

I just love September.  My birthday is next week :) 

Then Braylee's actual birthday is in 2 weeks.  I'm sure we will make that day fun for her.
